Providing
temporary
housing for
Ukrainian
refugees
Since the outbreak of war in Ukraine and the subsequent
flood of refugees, hosting this vulnerable target group has
proved to be a major challenge for many municipalities in the
Netherlands. Yet they are not alone, as Monoma, with years
of experience in temporary housing, has proven to be an
important partner for many municipalities.
What started with a relatively small-scale accommodation in
one municipality has now grown into a complete service that
can relieve municipalities of the burden and provide temporary
housing for Ukrainian refugees. Currently, Monoma provides
housing for some 2,000 people at 30 different locations
throughout the Netherlands.
While Monoma initially focused on providing temporary
housing, more and more services have been added over the
past year and a half. At the moment, Monoma (in cooperation
with its partners) not only provides housing, but also cleaning,
catering, security, social management and facility management.
In this way, a municipality has one point of contact regarding
the housing of Ukrainian refugees, and Monoma complements
all the services needed to make their stay as pleasant as
possible.
